OUR STORY

The Toledo Lead Resource Center was created with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and environmentally healthy home. Lead poisoning remains one of the most preventable environmental health threats facing our community, yet too many families continue to struggle with limited access to information, resources, and support. The Toledo Lead Resource Center serves as a trusted hub where residents, property owners, healthcare providers, educators, contractors, and community organizations can come together to learn, collaborate, and take action. Through education, advocacy, and community partnerships, we are helping families make informed decisions that protect children and strengthen neighborhoods.

Our work addresses lead hazards it is about building a healthier future for Toledo. We connect people to resources, promote lead-safe housing practices, support prevention efforts, and foster partnerships that create lasting change. By bringing together experts, community leaders, and residents, we are creating a coordinated approach to lead poisoning prevention that empowers families and improves quality of life across our region. Together, we are working toward a future where every home is lead-safe, every family has access to the information they need, and every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
